What Will My Child Gain ...
from Head Held High lessons?
If you’re reading this as a parent, it’s likely you’re asking yourself a version of the question, “is Head Held High right for my child?” Whatever your version of that question, the answer is almost certainly, “yes”.
How can we be so confident? Well, for a start – it’s in our DNA… we’re a School of Confidence!
We also answer “yes”, because although we use speech and drama lessons as the vehicle to deliver our programme’s mission, we are so much more than just a performing arts school. If we were just a performing arts school, we’d only be relevant to children who are by nature confident, dramatic, and interested in theatrics.
But, because our programme is delivered using hundreds of fun games and imaginative scenarios as the basis of our lessons, we’re able to weave elements of teachings about good manners, conversation skills, body language, respecting ourselves and others, how to relate positively to peers and adults, public speaking, and how to harness and use the power of imagination, all together into a magical programme that all types of children love, and benefit from.
Our team’s mission is growing confident, self-assured, fun loving, and impressive young New Zealanders.
Each term’s lessons include elements of…
Public Speaking Skills
Acting Skills
Positive Body Language
Speech Writing and Delivery

Poetry Recital
