Christina’s always the first to spot the curiously shaped cloud, and yesterday Chris not only caught, but tamed and named the Taniwha that lives in his pool. Both of them constantly ask “I wonder what would happen if…”, and spend their days imagining and creating. For Christina and Chris, Head Held High classes are an outlet for their pent-up creative flair, and a weekly oasis each week where they can be with other similar children, and importantly, a similarly creative teacher who knows how to recognise, encourage and foster creativity.
It’s nothing for Piper to pick up a simple hairbrush and turn it into a 3-hour Beyonce concert rehearsal, followed by a dinner time performance extravaganza in the lounge. Peter is also always on the lookout for the limelight, and yesterday directed, starred in, and recorded on his iPad, himself and his two friends as they re-enacted the final scenes from The Avengers. Piper and Peter share a love and excitement for acting and performing, and get to fuel that passion every week at Head Held High classes, with teachers who know how to spot and develop natural performers.
